Phalaenopsis Pulcherrima

Small seedling and it arrived in good condition. I am using a small aquarium with lid, to keep humidity above 70% and on occasion up to 90%. Aquarium is currently not heated, but will most likely heat it during the winter months. Gravel and sphagnum moss is at the bottom to assist in breaking water tension so evaporation happens quickly and easily. I also may mist once or twice a day when roots turn pale and are not green with humidity/hydration, always using filtered water or rain water. No chlorine. My home is located in Indiana, home conditions year round are 68-75 degrees, with humidity of 50%-60%. After almost a month I have seen only a minor setback in adjusting to the new environment, due to the fact that this is a seeding. This is why I’m keeping it in a small aquarium with other orchids that like high humidity. As it grows I’ll slowly adjust it to home conditions. But this may take months to a year as it needs to get much bigger in order to sustain and hydrate itself properly.

Great start bad results

You have a great product and was delivered in perfect condition. I, unfortunately never got to see the beautiful plant developed. Two of them looked like old soggy broccoli just a few days later. My fault for assuming I was able to care for them.
