Light Preferences

Phalaenopsis Liu's Berry 'Trinity' prefers bright light but not direct sunlight. Ideal for east or south windows with light conditions similar to African Violets (1000 to 1500 foot candles). The foliage should appear yellow-green if the light is correct.

Water Preferences

Water thoroughly when approaching dry but not completely dried out. Avoid using softened water. Ensure leaves dry out after watering to prevent crown rot. Watering every week to ten days is typically sufficient. 

Temperature Range

Ideal daytime temperatures are between 65-85°F (18-29°C). Nighttime temperatures should be between 55-65°F (13-18°C). In the fall, temperatures should fall below 60°F (16°C) for three weeks to induce flowering.

Fertilizer Recommendations

Apply half-strength orchid fertilizer weekly during the growing season. Adjust fertilization based on seasonal growth patterns.

Flowering Season

Typically flowers in late winter or early spring, though blooming can occur at other times of the year. Flower spikes will grow towards the source of greatest light.
